Mindfulness practice provides a powerful support for clear, kind, and effective conversations. Join author, communication trainer and meditation teacher Oren Jay Sofer for this introduction to Mindful Communication in an online weekend retreat. We will explore how our contemplative practice can provide a foundation for bringing more compassion, clarity, and connection into our speech and relationships. Based on teachings from his book, Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication, this weekend retreat will explore the foundations of an integrated approach to skillful communication.

This weekend retreat offers an innovative approach to communication and relationship, drawing on the tools of contemplative practice and Nonviolent Communication. Learn to speak your truth in a kind and caring way, build healthier relationships and have more meaningful conversations.

The weekend will include a combination of guided meditation, discussion, and interactive practices. This program is an introductory level; all are welcome to attend.
